Picture upload not possible (from Iphone)

Using my iPhone and trying to upload photos, but it says “the upload failed because the file could not be written to the server. The site administrator will need to resolve this before any files can be uploaded”.

Anyone else got this problem?

Not only mobile phone but IPad too.

I use postimage website.

Upload picture.
Copy the hotlink for forum link.
Paste the url straight here in thread as is.

I used to do that yonks ago. Looks like it’s back to the old ways!

Sorry for the inconvenience, there's a temporary fault, it should be fixed within the hour. It is currently affecting all uploads.

I'll post an update once fixed.

You can get round it if you load the site in Desktop mode.

1. Opent the site in Safari.

2. Point to the top left corner and tap "aA" button.

3. Select "Request Desktop Site".

This problem has now been resolved. (It was a server-side fault btw that affected both desktop and mobile devices)

Problem with forums is the picture orientation and file size.
I find postimg so quick and easy that's what I use. Whatever works for you I guess
