Hi there.

I am new to this forum. My pilot light has disappeared and although the igniter is flicking to try and light the pilot, it will not catch.

The reset button under the boiler has not popped out, so I cannot depress it.

Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions as we are without hot water and heating!

Many thanks

Either the pilot jet is blocked or the gas valve has failed.

Both jobs that would need a competent CORGi engineer.

first of all check that you have gas. then do what agile suggested.

Many thanks - I have done the logical thing - rely on my B Gas 3 star service - let them come out and fix it!!

Thanks again for your views
