Ive got an old Baxi boiler. Which British Gas wont touch. It was working fine until I put the heating on this weekend. The pilot light wont stay lit. Worked fine before. Ive been told no more spare are available for this model. I cant afford to replace it, so need some advise. Thanks in advance.

The boiler is a Baxi WMS 32 ps, well thats what on it. BG wont touch because its old and they cant get spares.

thermocouple if memory servs me correct honey well type will do it but yeah universal will do it
Crikey really, thought it looked old but not that old. Think I need to start saving for a new one. Would you recommend a combi boiler over the traditional ones.?
theres a lot of things to consider before going for a combi
whatever you replace it with will have to be condensing

Sorry, being really dense here, why condensing whats the difference?
regulations now enforce all boilers to be condensing its the only type on the market unless u get a commercial one
