Hi

I have chased 15mm heating pipes down walls from loft for new rads and are buried at least 10mm.

The foam insulation would be to thick whats the next best thing to insulate with thermwrap, old style lagging?

I intend to plaster a finish coat over them and want to avoid cracking down the line.

Thanks

I use the felt that goes over the pipe as you install it, like a sleeve, rather than wrapping it after.
The scrim goes across the chase.
You could fill the chase, then apply scrim to the first fill then do a second fill.
