Pipe noise after running cold tap/flushing toilet

Run a cold tap or flush toilet upstairs. Stop running tap. Seconds later loud vibrating noise that persists for several seconds, eventually dying off.

Started in the last few weeks.

Anyone know what this is likely to be?

Prob supplied via a cistern in the loft and the washer in the ball valve needs replacing.

For the cost, might as well replace the whole valve for £4.
