our newish houses only got built on appeal [apparently] and this clause was inserted into the planning...
"Notwithstanding the provisions of the Town and Country Planning
(General Permitted Development) Order 1995 (or any order revoking and
re-enacting that Order with or without modification), no additions or
extensions to the dwellings shall be built; or ancillary buildings or
structures erected within the curtilage; no additional openings shall
be inserted in the rear elevation or material alterations made to the
appearance of the dwellings without the permission of the local
planning authority".
Now obviously this is a bit of a git, especially as we only want velux windows in the back. Can anyone think of what I can do to make sure I do get planning permission, or anything at all that can make all this a bit easier?
