hi guys,need advice.
will soon finish a loft conversion.I was wondering if its possible to hang lining paper onto bare plasterboard?
i have never plastered before and my current attemps are ..well...sad to say the least.
I cannot afford to hire a plasterer so do i keep trying with the plaster or can i just go with the paper route?

You can indeed use lining paper

However, make sure you have taped caulked and sanded the joints before you start

Then size them well before you start using either thinned out wallpaper paste, glue size (if you can find it) or 4:1 PVA

Stick a drop of white emulsion in with your mix...just a drop, it will help you see where you have been
