I have have a very small room that used to be a bathroom. The walls are terrible so I was planning on putting some plasterboard on the walls and getting a plasterer out. I am getting a window fitting on the other wall so it looks out to the garden so this one is not needed. Would it be possible to just brick this up and attach plasterboard to it? I wouldn't be bothered about the outside. I have attached pictures to show what I mean. Any help would be great. Thanks in advance.

if your boarding the wall anyway, make a timber frame to support the board inside and concentrate on the brickwork outside.
