Plasterboard finishing problem

The time has come to re-decorate the kitchen, but I've got a problem with the paper that has been stuck to the plasterboard in the corners - it's peeling off in places. What's the best way of sticking it back down in preparation for painting? Some have bowed and round the door it appears to be like cardboard so it looks difficult to repair.

Use Easi-fill which is design for plasterboard,a very fine filler
