Hi,

I've only just bought our first house and i'm new to DIY but loving every minute of it.

I've been using this forum and youtube and have managed a great deal.

The latest job is plaster boarding the ceiling. (after pulling down some to lath and plaster ... Wow ... I'll never do that again)

The only problem is a gap between two boards off 6mm (attached), the house is very old and this is the closest I could get it. Can I leave it with just a scrim tape cover or can I use a material to fill the gap first - polyfilla or similar?

Thanks in advance.

Adam
