plasterboard joints

Whats the best way to get a smooth joint on square edged plasterboard when joining sheets together? I dont want to scim the whole lot but if i dont will this leave a "lump" where the tape and palster covers the joints?
 
yes it will leave a bump, square edge board is for skimming and as Jay says you should have used tapered edge board for jointing tape and filler
