I need to put anew bottom edge on a plastered wall. The rest of the wall is good, but the bottom edge was messy and much has come away when the old skirtings were removed.
How best to get a sharp edge? The wall is quite uneven. I've tried wooden battens, but they don't seem to work for me. Is there an alternative? Maybe another version of corner beading that could be nailed on and worked to and then left?
