Plastering fireplace quote

Front of fire place needs plastering - literally only the two piers either side of the opening at the bottom and left hand side which has been dry lined needs a skim.

Is a day rate the usual price for this? Circa £200?

Yep, I’d say so, or less if you’re lucky and get someone to squeeze it in after work...

I gave up in the end after several plasterers kept postponing. One came and quoted £220 and then even he wanted to reschedule one hour before he was due to come. Something came up just means my job isn't good enough for them. So I dry lined it myself!

Job done for £15.40!
