what is the best way to scim a ceiling??

ive just done one today and my arms and shoulders hurt like mad.

what is the best way to do them with out my arms and shoulders hurting??
eg, mixing the gear runny

You want to set yourself up at the right height, the top of your head wants to be one hand or 4 inches down from the ceiling.
unless you are doing ceilings for a few days then you'll always get the pain.

what is the best way to scrim a ceiling??
If you use jute scrim cut it to length and lay it out,
cotton or the nylon can be run out on the ceiling and cut off to length with your skimming trowel,
you should fill your joints first with a thin coat of plaster then run your scrim in to it.

i cant get a bloke 2 do it, bt i wish i could tho lol,

You are using different muscles, so bound to be sore unless you do it regularly.

You should really warm up before and stretch afterwards to reduce stiffness, it will help
