Has anybody used plastic fence posts and gravel boards? How strong are the boards for retaining soil and were they dreadfully expensive? Would you recommend?

it brings to mind the bloke who invented flat road cones.
Yep, they really were flat, right height right amount of reflective stuff, light weight, rigid, rain proof, snow proof stand up to anything.........
..................well amost, they were used on a M way in the summer and they melted. honest. it got so hot the plastic became unstable and they started to melt and as they were flat they all drooped. total waste of time.

They sell them here, never used them though.
