I need to fit a towel rail which has normal 15mm valves. The pipes in my house are 10mm plastic microbore. Presumably I need some kind of reducer fitting, but do I need to use some kind of insert in the end of the plastic pipe to stop crushing?

Ok I bought a couple of these reducers, but how do I use them? What keeps the pipe sealed?
