Hi guys,

Need to run a bit of mains water outside of the house. This will be above ground and will be very insulated. What type of plastic pipe is the best to use?

What would you recommend for above ground outdoors mains water, MDPE, HPPE, HDPE, etc?

Thanks,

How long is the run, and what’s it feeding? Some pipes, like mdpe aren’t suitable for uv exposure.

The outdoors part is about 3.5-4 meters, feeding a kitchen tap in the attached garage extension.

I would run it underground then, or look at a way of running it internally if possible?

Run lagged mdpe inside some nice gutter downpipe. I presume it will be clipped to a wall or fence and not just laid on the ground.
