The house I have just bought has wooden windows which are double glazed with plastic seals on the non opening side that wind/draught proof the windows when they are closed.

The problem is that many of the windows have been painted over and when they are freed the plastic seal comes off as the windows are opened because the glue on the back of the seal has dried off.

Can anyone please suggest where I can get either new seals with double sided tape on them or a sensible repair.

Thanks
