Hi All

I'm new to this forum but wanted to try and get some experienced plumbing / boiler advice.

I have a Vaillant boiler that was installed before I bought my house around 3 years ago. When I turn the heating on the boiler starts leaking from the bottom. Also the pressure is dropping rapidly - When I increase the pressure it also starts to leak. There is still hot water and the heating still works however the leaking is causing a mess. Once the pressure drops to zero or I turn the heating off the leaking stops.

Does anyone have any ideas at all!?

Regards

GP

Well its clearly a fault and the danger is that it could damage other parts if left to continue leaking.

Whereas you are concerned about the water under the boiler, I would be more concerned about expensive damage inside!

I think you will need a competent boiler engineer to investigate.
