Please help

I have an icos ideal boiler. My hot water is working but my heating will not work. When the hot water is on the c symbol is showing. When I switch the heating on it still shows the c symbol but does not fire up the heating.


Can anyone please advise????

The boiler is not the fault if it's heating your hot water it could be your heating zone valve if you have one. You may have a thermal store so it's your secondary pump faulty or room stat. But defo not the boiler!!

I seem to have fixed it by bleeding the radiators and flicked that switch next to the hot water tank that you can switch between hot water and heating.
