Plumbing for taps with belfast sink

Hey.

I was just wondering what it is the normal course of action when plumbing in water taps with a belfast sink?

Because the sink sits on top of a solid unit, there isnt any access to the underside of the work surface behind it, where the tap is mounted. What do you do when/ if the tap goes wrong and it needs replacing/ repairing?? Or have I made an error in how Ive put the cabinet together? Its a modified IKEA cabinet....

Any advice greatfully received -its a monobloc mixer tap btw.

You should be able to slide the sink in after the plumbing is complete and tested.

Then you connect the waste and seal around the bowl from the inside

I cant slide the sink in ast the waste is installed already and pokes out the bottom of the sink by about 3 inches - can these be removed?

thanks for your advice a while ago - worktop fitter is coming tomorrow. After removing the waste, the sink will still have a bulge poking out the bottom of it where the waste goes through and the overflow drains into it - its just a standard armitage shanks sink - will I definitely be able to slide it into place once the worksurface is on? Sorry if this sounds like a stupid question, but Ive not done this before and dont want to cock anything up!
