plumbing in a colonic irrigation tank

No need for a tank. Stick the hose directly onto the mains.

The one I did was a 50 litre collection tank fed via a shower mixer to control temp. Usual air gap requirements between outlet and collection tank, then water for the irrigation was just via gravity to the a*se!
