Hi All

I need some advise on changing a toilet pan. As you can see from the pic its cemented into a ceramic waste pipe. Any recommendations as to how I can plumb in a new toilet with a plastic coupler?

You will have to snap it clean off with a bolster chisel. If done cleanly you can fit a 90 pan connector in there for the new pan.

But you will find that the hole is so far from the wall you will struggle to fit a contemporary toilet in without building a boxed section to bridge the gap between cistern and wall.

Yeah was thinking that too, see too many bodged with boxed sections to make up the space. Its a bit of a job though digging that up and re-routing the soil.
