plumbing vent question

hi there this is my first question ever......

do i need to vent my waste plumbing pipes to an outside source i.e roof vent from all waste points or is the external soil stack vented? help please

not sure i understand

your soil stack should be vented. u can join all others to this stack, without further ventilation on domestic situations

yes your external soil stack is vented, either open vented, or with a air admittance valve,

in extreme circumstances there may be a need to install further venting, but as JPC said, normally domestic situations have adiquate venting

why do you ask ?
