plumbing whistles

in the last week or so every time the water is running (toilet, sink, washing machine etc) i am hearing a whistling sound. Whats is the problem??

Depending where the sound coming from,probably coming from your ballcock valve in the tank or you could turn down the cold mains feed stopcock down
