I have just installed a new radiator to my system from a worcester bosch greenstar junior now the upstairs radiators wont work, the pump seems to be working,the pipes get warm to a low height, is this is an airlock could anybody shed any light on this?

have you bled the system?
if so, close all the rads off besides the cold ones, one at a time if there is an airlock the pressure will push it into the rad, then bleed as you are doing.
