Hi I am fitting a new combi water heater and am having a problem.
When I tighten the cold water inlet fitting the thread is facing the wrong way and is obstructing the area where the plastic cover is to be fitted. Is there a simple answer to this; I feel there must be.

That was yesterday when a real counterboy asked me for a 2" lever valve and two 2" plugs to cap it off.
We eventually got to the fact that he wanted 2 valves and 2 plugs.
