guys I am putting up a new lean to roof on my consevoetroy. My dad keeps telling me I should ply line it all before felt it.

So roof would be, from outside down;
Britmet tileform slate 2000
50x38mm battens
Breatherble membrane
Plywood sheet of what thickness?
6x2 roof rafters at 600 centres
100mm pir between rafter
50mm pir below rafters taped to create vcl
12.5mm plasterboard
Skim

Can anyone comment on this please ?

Thanks

What's the point of using a breather membrane if your going to use a sarking board of ply? How is moisture going to get out? I'm no expert but it's one or the other IMO

Thats very true. I am not even sure what the purpose of sarking board is for.
