Really sorry - loads of previous ply questions, but I can’t see an answer.

I have joists 40cm apart, I want to lay ply, and am looking at 22-25mm ply, and then sealing and laying stick down planks, but:

- softwood ply?
- hardwood ply?
- marine ply?
- structural ply?

Is any thick (22mm-25mm) ply sufficient?

Hardwood plywood, 18 to 22mm thick will do the job. CDX would also do the job, as would 22mm T&G spruce plywood. Beware shuttering ply!

Ooh - ok. Is that because the 22mm ply isn’t flooring grade?

Yes

You’ll want 6mm SP101 ply over the top, feather the joints and screw heads then direct glue the LVT

Always best to use High Temp adhesive as belt and braces, Pressure Sensitive is ok but not as reliable.
