I have a small raised terrace of old concrete slabs outside my lounge patio doors.
I've taken the old slabs up and laid Indian stone slabs in their place. I have a tub of Sika Fastfix on the way to do the pointing with.
The outer edge of the terrace is supported by a low retaining wall and the new slabs oversail it by about 25mm to 40mm, as was the case with the old.
Given that the Sika is a brush in product I'm wondering how I avoid the pointing stopping short of the outer edge of the slabs due to the last inch having no support .
My front entrance doors steps have been done in Indian stone and the treads similarly oversail and I note they are pointed right to the edge.
Can that last inch or so be pointed up with a pointing tool while holding a piece wood underneath the joint, or is there another better method.
Thanks...
