poker table help

Hi guys, i`m new to DIY and want to build myself a nice big green poker table. can any of you reccomend a good way of doing this? which cloth? how can i add rubber edges to it and make a space for a card deck in the table itself?
thanks for any info and suggestions.

The cloth you want is a type of green beize called "poker cloth" and the best place to pick some up is probably Poker Chips-Net in the UK. Another supplier is Poker Supplies Ltd who also sell the closed cell foam to use below the cloth, padded rail and chip trays. There's also a forum for poker table making with plans and parts for sale in the USA at Home Poker Tourney. complete with plans and materials for sale. As to the card deck, though, I'm stumped.
