Hi,

Just a quick answer needed if possible, i currently have a PolyPlumb fitting CH system and i am upgrading a radiator which happens to be of a slightly bigger size, can i use Polyfit pipe with the new PolyPlumb fixtures i have?

The reason i ask is Polyplumb only sell around 25m roll of 10mm and i need about 1m which i can get hold of.

Thanks in advance

Yes, found out this week they are interchangeable, grey polyplumb are not dismountable whereas white polyfit are.

Can't see it being a problem as long as you use the appropriate inserts for the pipe and confirm the polyfit pipe is of the barrier construction

Same black inserts for both, looking at the pipe construction, Iwould be happier about the polyfit than the polyplumb for heating applications although the manufacturer claims both are suitable.

Just to throw another question into the mix, if i were to use a 10mm to 15mm reducer backwards i.e go from 10mm to 15mm (effectively an increaser) would this be recommended?

I only mentioned this as i have 15mm pipe sat here but was unsure if the reduction in pressure would have a drastic effect?

Cheers

Not really a good idea but as a caveat - not enough info provided in your question.
