Hello All,
Can anyone please tell me if it is OK to install styrene coving on top of wallpaper & ceiling paper. We have emulsioned anaglypta on both the walls & ceiling & she who must be obeyed has decided that she would now like coving putting up but I don't know if this can be done over wallpaper.
Thanks;
Dekkaxx :?: :rolleyes:

Yes it can and as it is light weight even lighter than the paperfaced coving will go up with caulking. caulk the back and when in postion caulk the edges and smooth off before dry. Paint as usual afterwards. :D

Be careful when handling this type of coving.It is very easily damaged.You can also buy pre-formed internal/external 90 degree corners to save you the hassle of cutting mitres.Also,when you strip your wall/ceiling paper in the future,cut along the coving line carefully with a stanley knife,to save destroying the coving.

Roughcaster.
