Kitchen hot water tap runs OK and then water stops flowing. If you leave it 10 mins it runs OK again. Only just started doing this, previously been OK. Any thoughts?
I could be off the mark but all I can think of is that the pressure to push the hot water from your tap comes from the height of water in your water tank. When the level drops it is replaced by mains water through a ball valve.
If this ball valve is faulty and only fills the tank slowly, it could account for the promlem you have. Once water has gone the hot water stops to flow or only trickles out.(no pressure) If after 10 mins tank has filled the process is repeated.
Other than the above I would also check out the tap washer.
