We have created the footings for our porch and we are just about to get the Bricky in.
We do have some design questions.(see picture attached.
1) we are going to have a window and door on porch like existing. In addition we are have a window to the right of it(on new porch front) however the window sizes won't be equal. Will this look weird? I don't really want to adjust internal door.
2) we are going to ask the Bricky to teathinto the garage wall. What's best way to remove bricks ready to teath? I was thinking a hammer drill chisel and bolster? Any tips?
3) we are having a roof(not flat) . In the corner of the porch do we need to put a pole or something to support roof? The porch will be bricked up to the level of the bottom of the window only so there will be no brick work support.
4) hip or standard roof? Thoughts
?
6) I am told a 100ml cavity is standard. Any way to reduce this? Maybe 50ml?
