Portable DVD batteries

We are taking our grandchildren on holiday to USA soon and want to buy a portable DVD player to keep them amused during the flights. Want a decent sized screen but not mega expensive so am considering the Philips PET800/05 at £149.99. Seems good value but I can't find anywhere to buy spare batteries, or external rechargeable battery supplies. (3 hours from the standard battery will not get us through the flight).

Can anyone advise on a source for batteries/power packs?

Any experience of the Philips PET800/05?
 
last time i went to the states, there was portable dvd player as in flight entertainment.

on the way back they were mounted in the rear of the seat in front.

you may not need one after all, check wih air line
