Portsmouth float valve washers

Hey does anyone no were I can purchase one of these. And can you buy them on there own?

AS you are in Blackpool and so not in my back yard, I'll let you into a secret, Wickes do a Ball Valve repair kit (at least my local one does) including Piston, washers and Split Pin.

Just buy a complete valve and keep the spares? The entire valve costs just over a fiver....

You can buy them from most plumbers merchants in packs of 5 for around a £1

You may be able to just turn the existing one around as a temporary measure.

Nige, I know, but, only give'em enough courage to start the job.

Then after a few hours and the water is still off (or, coming thro' the ceiling) the missus calls me to 'sort it out'.
