Post bases

Hi All,
I hope you are well.
Would you be able to recommend any other post bases I can use.
I have these 3 different ones.
On my patio project I used the first one you put into the concrete.

However for my pergola project I want to use something stronger as the first one has the thinnest steel. I want to install 4 big solar panels on the roof so I reckon 150-200kg on the roof. The structure has to be stronger.

The other two are thicker steel 5 and 8mm however I will have to drill lots of holes to attach it to the concrete base, a bit counterproductive and I risk the base cracking (even if reinforced with steel bars)

Have you seen something like the 1st one but thicker steel (5mm+)?
This is for 6x6 posts by the way.

Find your nearest industrial unit that does welding and ask them to fabricate what you seek. I'm always welding up various pieces for mates and that is your best line of attack, a skilled welder.
 
So do you guys think these 5mm thick steel post bases (150mm) are sufficient for a pergola + 4 solar panels (approx. 100kg)?


This is what I used on my patio but pergola is going to be a bit heavier due to the fact I put a roof (laminate boards and panels),

A pergola with a braced roof does not stress the posts as much as a fence, which in strong winds has a sideways force trying to push it over, and nothing to brace it. You might benefit from some deep or diagonal bracing to hold it rigid. You can get good resistance from concrete spurs sunk into the ground.

Your post feet are much bigger than mine. If you're having them made up, I'd consider stainless, spaced off the base enough for water to drain away so the post bottoms are not standing in water. I used concrete pads to raise the feet above ground level.

Like you said, this is what I did on the patio. It has this base so above ground, no water can get in.
The concrete goes about 40-50cm into the ground reinforced with some steel rods.
I cannot get these steel bases as stainless but I have painted it with Zinc paint (3 layers).
