looking for a decent mix for setting fence posts(concrete slotted)
i.e, sand,cement,chippings.
have the sand and cement,
 
Use post mix from any diy shed but dont mix to much up in one go as it sets in about 10 minuets or use cement & balast/gravel at a ratio of cement 1 gravel 5.
If you have the sand & cement mix it in a ratio of one shovel of cement to four/five of sand, but add a one or two shovel loads of pea shingle/scalpins/stones to the mix.
