hi everyone well my problem is really really two problems, first off the heating cant retain its pressure ? secondly from cold if the heating is put on the boiler locks out and produces steam at the hot water side, now the hot water side runs just fine on its own, I think any ideas what the problem could be[/b][/code]

First thought is gas in the system that is collecting in the HW circuit. Have you vented from all available venting points?
Also, when the system is correctly pressurised, but when cold, have you checked for any leaks on rad valves?
