Potterton Diplomat 35/40 (Convertable)

Could someone please help.

My Dad has a Potterton Diplomat 35/40 (Convertable) Boiler. It is a very old boiler (25 years old) and the pilot light will not stay on. Could anyone tell me what the problem could be. And if so where I could get the part from for him.

Probably it just needs a thermocouple. Simple job for a Corgi Engineer.
Though thinking that, I went to a boiler at 8 last eve. The combustion chamber screws has seized and it needed a new gas valve. Left at 11!
They don't make em like they used to , thank god!
