Potterton EP2001 Programmer

Hi,

Is the Potterton EP2002 Electronic Programmer a direct replacement for my EP2001 ?

Same backplate ... wiring connections ? ( for amateur )

Are these types obsolete or becoming so now ?
Have seen them advertised, quite heavily discounted on web.

Bit out of date but may be useful to someone.

Same backplate and wiring. EP3002 replaces
EP2000,EP2001,EP2002,EP3000,EP3001

PS.
If tiling around the programmer, ensure knowledge of removal and how much clearance to tiles especially top edge.
