Hello

Is is possible to seperate the control of central heating on the EP2002 controller. We have this controller with baxi boiler. the hotwater can be switched on seperately when central heating is off. but central heating cannot be switched on without switching on the hotwater. is this normal. can they be seperated fully?

Thanks

It is designed as a straight replacement for the old ep2000 model, a really tedious old timer, with very limited options. As it is directly compatible with the old backplate, I would not be at all surprised if they did not take the opportunity to upgrade the choice in options.

You will probably find it is well worth to swap it for a Honeywell 9400 which gives you fully independent switching which will also make the response of the system considerably faster.

Lets take back powels answer just now . System may have been altered without clock being altered.
what controls do you have is there 2 motorised valves or one 3 port or none at all

Yes but your controls/wiring will need upgrading. Get a heating engineer in
Unless, as would seem a reasonable premise from the name of this site, the OP actally wants to do the job himself.

If so, please as much information about the system as possible, e.g names and part numbers of all components, and you will be given more advice.
