Help.....
For the last few days we've noticed that our thermostat (mechanical dial) wouldn't turn down below 15. It was as if 15 was the lowest point, it still however turned up and down to thT point, clicking on and off and operating the heating.
Tonight however we can turn the dial without a problem but there's no click! The radiators are freezing cold, we've definitely had hot water for a bath an hour or so ago.
When I check the boiler there's no pressure however there are also no warning lights showing (there was a red light under the 30deg heading and a green light below that so it's getting power. (there's no digital display on this one, just a row of red and green lights). There's no sound coming from it either, if I reset or turn off and on there's nothing to say it's doing anything.
I can't find a filler loop anywhere (the boiler was installed by previous owners) so not sure if I can even pressurise the thing.
It's bloody freezing in here n'all now......
Any thoughts, ideas etc?
