potterton prt2

hi guys, hope your all well!

right then, i have a problem with my potterton prt2 ch system i think.


if i turn the thermostat dial from a low temp setting to a higher one, the red light 'reached' light goes out and the green 'below' light comes on, but there is no clicking noise at all (as though the relay is not switching).

the lights appear to be fainter than normal as well.

hence the heating will not come on. hot water is working fine tho


do i just need to get a new prt2 unit?

may need a new one but normally test to check its getting voltage first then test if its switching,if it is getting corredt voltage and not switching then new stat it is
