Hi all,
The boiler gets the demand light and I can hear the igniter click away and it lights quite quickly and stays lit (cover's off so I can see the flame), but it carries on clicking and clicking until it cuts out and the reset light comes on. It cuts out every time after 15 -20 seconds, this is with demand from Both HW & CH.
(System pressure OK.)
Is there a sensor that should stop the igniter when the boiler lights? Is it simply timing out because it thinks it hasn't sparked???

Any help massively appreciated!

Cheers, luke

It is not recognising that the flame has lit !

However, as its a gas/combustion related we do not advise on DIY repairs.

The obvious advice is to call a gas reg engineer.

Hi Tony,
thanks for the reply, is it as simple as it being 1 specific part (the sensor not detecting the flame has lit) and if so, do you know what the part is called?

Many thanks

Luke
