i have the above boiler and it isnt working up as it should.

Itfires up and works for about 10 minutes and then cuts out. looking through the ispection panel it would appear that the burners are partially alight . if i switch the boiler off an wait for 10 minutes or so it fires up again and repeats the process ... help..!!

Definately not a boiler for a diyer. For your own safety get a good boiler repair man in and don't mess with it.

In fact if the burners are not fully lit then unburnt gas is being released which is potentially dangerous.

When did you have your last annual service?

It is impossible to see the whole of the burner from the inspection glass.
Potentially a dangerous situation and you are advised to get it serviced / repaired by a pro.

the boiler was last serviced about 6 months ago

Thanks for you advice i will turn it off and get an engineer to look at it.

Any idea what it could be though

Not possible to be accurate as to the cause without being in front of the boiler with some test equipment. All I can say is that I would not be parting with too much money on spares and repairs on such an old boiler.
