Potterton Netaheat 16-22

Please help!
My netaheat is faulty. When I turn it on, the fan starts, the spark generator works and the pilot light comes on, but thats it.
Main burner will not come on.

Any advice welcome.

This is an old boiler and problems are caused by age.

It could be the mercury vapour switch.
The part is hard to find and maybe £100

Is your boiler an Mk1 or M11 as the part is different.[ i think ]

Think you need get an engineer in

Does the spark carry on sparking after the pilot has lit?

It was the mercury switch, wiggled it about at the connection with the gas valve and Hey Presto! Heat
