Can anyone help?

Our central heating tripped the electrics out the other day and since then the hot water will work but not the central heating. From reading a similar post I tested the 3 way diverter valve by moving the auto to manual leaver and once it was in the manual position the central heating came on. I have replaced the diverter valve and the boiler is now kicking in again, however, it doesn't stay on for very long and the rads are not getting anywhere near the normal temperature. I have gone round and bled them all but still no better.

Does anyone have any ideas what could be wrong.

by the sounds of it uve repaired the initial fault of the dicky 3 way valve but it now seems u have a restriction in ure system i.e blocked cold feed/blocked air sep-h section,or slow running pump

Thanks for that. How can I test which one it is, and what would I need to do to fix it?

easiest way 2 check for a blocked cold feed if ure unsure on systems is to attach a hospipe to a drain pff downstairs and start draining sytem, while its draining nip up into loft and check the SMALL header tank thats up there, check to see if the ball valve starts to fill-if it does then ure cold feed is ok,if it doesnt the cold feed is blocked :D
