Potterton Perfoma 28 not working

Folks here goes first time poster so will probably leave lots of detail out.

Boiler just sitting with the fault finding light on have checked all the fuses and they are o.k. pump seems to be working o.k. can't see a flame through the glass window when I reset the boiler still the same

The 60 degree light stays on I don't if the fault can be diagnosed from that

60 light is system pressure low or pump dead.
WHat's the pressure? Use filling loop to set to 1 bar.

Potterton Performa 28 and the pressure is 1 bar

Looking a bit pcb ish then.
Dunno how it can indicate low pressure - it hasn't got a pressure sensor I can see.

you say the fault light stays on.........................it needs to flash to be a fault code...

Yes it flashes on and off

The flow is sensed using hydraulic pressure flow switch (ontop of div valve) when pump runs does a pin rise and make the micro switch, is it all ready made and jammed, is pump impellor sheared off ?

over heat stat may be resetable type, with a little red button ontop.

Or the pump could be going slow or have its impeller full of gunge.

Folks thanks for all the help the pump has been replaced as the pump was only bearly pumping
